Where we ship

Herbert & Phyllis ships to all 50 United States. We do not currently ship internationally. Trees planted in Israel are not physical shipments — see Trees planted in Israel below.

Shipping cost

Standard shipping is free on every order, with no minimum purchase. The price shown on the product page is the price you pay for standard delivery.

Faster methods are available for an additional charge. The surcharge is not a single flat rate — it depends on how far the gift travels from where it is packed — so the exact amount for your delivery address is shown at checkout, before you pay:

• Standard — always free, to every address, with no minimum
• 2-Day Express — typically $20–$40 depending on destination
• Overnight — typically $45–$60 depending on destination

Alaska, Hawaii and other remote destinations cost more; the figure shown at checkout is the figure you pay. Enter the recipient’s ZIP code on any product page to see both the price and the arrival date for each method before adding anything to your cart.

Processing time and cut-off

Orders placed by 1:00pm ET on a business day ship the same business day. Orders placed after that cut-off, or on a weekend or federal holiday, ship the next business day.

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, federal holidays, or Jewish holidays on which work is not performed. Where a holiday affects your delivery date, the estimate shown at checkout already accounts for it.

Delivery estimates

Enter the recipient’s ZIP code on any product page or in the cart to see the exact estimated arrival date for each shipping method before you pay. Estimates are calculated from the destination and the current cut-off time.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once a package is with the carrier, its progress is outside our control. Weather, carrier delays and incorrect addresses can all affect arrival.

Tracking

You will receive a confirmation email when you order, and a tracking email when the gift ships. Tracking is sent to the purchaser, not the recipient, so a gift stays a surprise.

If no one is home

Our gifts are shelf-stable and packed to travel. Carriers will normally leave the package at the door if no one answers. We are not able to guarantee a signature on delivery.

Incorrect addresses

Please check the recipient’s address carefully before ordering. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment; a reshipping charge may apply. If you spot a mistake, email info@herbertandphyllis.com or call (347) 709-2352 as soon as possible — we can usually correct it if the order has not yet shipped.

Damaged or delayed shipments

If a gift arrives damaged, or arrives materially later than the estimate we gave you, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund it. For a quality issue with a perishable food gift, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Photographs of the item and packaging help us resolve it quickly. Trees planted in Israel

A tree planted in Israel is not a physical shipment and has no shipping charge. Your certificate is issued and emailed as soon as the order is complete. If you choose the printed-certificate option, the printed copy is mailed by standard post and typically arrives within 7–10 business days.
